Tastefully Tacky Vintage Postcards

Tacky postcards are fun to collect. The tackiness in postcards is sometimes intentional and sometimes accidental. Intentional tackiness is usually of the "cute" variety such as that seen on dressed animal and exaggeration postcards. Very few postcards created for the tourist market or as advertisements are truly or tastelessly tacky. Often the tackiness depends on being seen out of context or after tastes have changed with the passage of time. Here I present some vintage cards from my collection of tacky postcards that I currently find amusing and tastefully tacky.
